Description
The spirit of a great knight who died in an embarrassing, non-heroic way. He had been at the front lines to face an opposing army in what was supposed to be a great battle. But before the fighting even began, he was shot in the face with an arrow and died. He found this death so stupid and unheroic that he refused to move on. Coming back from the dead as a ghost, he found himself facing a harsh truth. Though he was worshiped and loved in life, in death, everyone just moved on and forgot. He ran into the Knights of the Wrong Table when he heard about an order that let anyone be a knight. So insulted by the concept of "anyone" being a knight, he went before them to insult and scold them for such a blasphemous idea. His anger left no impact on the order, especially when Vikus found out his true identity and was in awe of meeting a great knight. Despite his rage and insults, he begrudgingly joined the order, as no one else would take him in.
- Attitude - Sir Rodrick is an egotistical asshole (best way to put it). He views himself as one of the best knights in the world and that he is without flaws. Everything he did in his life was grand and great in his eyes. He looks down on the other members of the order, seeing them as idiots and freaks that are trying to impersonate a rank that is only meant to the worthy. As a member of this foolish order, he claims he only joined to try and teach the others how to be proper knights. This teaching usually involves him ordering the others around and insulting them. This always ends up backfiring and making things worse, further irritating him. A constant source of misery for him is when the order goes out on missions to stop some monster and end up coming back with another member.
- Relations - Though a member of the order, Sir Rodrick does not like many of the other knights. He openly hates Reknir, Osryx, Cobalus, Goregok and Selena (With him actually trying to kill her when they first met.). This usual entails a slew of insults to them and distrust. Though he doesn't hate the others, he doesn't like them either. Vikus is too much a of a fan boy to him that it is irritating for him to even be around him. Korgin's belief that it is all a game and Merrill's touristy outlook of the whole ordeal is also annoying, as he believes that they aren't taking things seriously. Coat-of-Arms and Otis aren't even considered knights in his eyes, they are more like pests that wandered in. Alex's gender issue creeps him out, so he doesn't like talking to him/her. The only two members he even borders on the idea of liking are Alvea and Telnus. Telnus's grumpiness and similar views of the order make the two somewhat compatible, at least for trading insults to the other members. For Ant Knight, he is mainly impressed with her strength and endurance, but that is pretty much it. Don't even get him started on the gorgon they are harboring.
- Partner - Coat-of-Arms - A pairing that nearly had Rodrick leave the order straight up. The mere thought of pairing a great knight like him up with an armored coat rack infuriated him. Unfortunately, the pairing was the only logical one the others could think of, as there were conflicts with any other member. It doesn't help that he openly hates a couple of members, and also is unsettled by a few others. As a pair, they can't really do much.
- Abilities - Rodrick cannot interact with the physical world, which means he can move through any solid object. That also means he cannot fight or even move simple objects, with his body just passing through it. This makes him excellent in spying and sneaking into places, but he can only observe. As an undead, he can interact or harm other undead or spiritual creatures, like a Shadow Stalker.
- Tools - He mainly uses the blade he wielded as a living knight, but it too is non corporeal. It can be used to attack other spirits or undead.
- Weaknesses - He cannot interact with any physical objects. As a spirit he is vulnerable to certain spells that can disrupt his form or trap his soul. He can also be temporarily dissipated if his form is agitated enough, like a massive object swinging through him or a spell blasting through his form. He can pull himself back together after a while though.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't know if I said this before, but I totally forgot how much of an asshole I made Rodrick. For some time I was picturing him as more of a disgruntled person like Telnus, but when I went and reread his first picture, I found out he was WAY more aggressive and nasty. I want to keep that personality for him, because for someone who lived a life of slaughtering other species, was worshiped by the people and then promptly forgotten, I imagine he would be pretty angry.
Also ribcages are super hard to draw. What are they even.
I think I am going to post their profiles with their pictures, just so I have a character profile for each of them. How official!

You pretty much nailed how Goregok showed up in the order, except that Rodrick didn't do so well in containing his anger. Back in his day, you just stabbed the monsters and called it good. How hard of a concept was that to grasp?
