Description
I found a company selling my poster on their site... after they complied and took it down (with no apologies) they have the nerve to sell it on EBAY.The site went even as far to say it was the OFFICIAL poster!
I wanted people to enjoy the image and even improve upon it (with the relevant attributes). BUT NOT TO SELL! I hate it when people make money of off others work. It's so lazy.

Though they did take it down and I saw on one of your comments that you settled with them, you can sue them. All work posted on Devianart is put under a copyright.

Thanks for the concern, I have settled this with the company (even if they did make money) but I will pursue legal action if necessary.

No problem! It's crazy isnt it?!? I have had my car photos turn up on international websites and magazines...without my knowledge. It's kinda funny, but at the same time, its really insulting because they just take it. Great poster though... to bad you cant get paid for all that usage!

It is very sad this happened to you, at least your art was good enough to be sold off as official.
I also read Ebay seemed not to be a big help. I would have hoped they would have been better.

Well it said that we should not go around accusing people of art theft... just message them about it, maybe they don't know they are doing something wrong. If they don't do anything about it, then report the art.

I agree, but i think messaging tends to work out bad, if i have proof i just take it to DA, well mainly if it is obvious art theft, like image reposting.

It's kind of a compliment, though. I mean, someone liked it enough to steal it and thought it'd bring in cash.
But it's just wrong. Stealing someone else's art is low.
