*Nezumi-chuu and I have been working on a little side project set in an alternate universe just for the hell of it [and because we adore our boys and love seeing them in all sorts of situations and settings <3]. This WIP sketch of Zeph is just to show what his younger, AU self would look like. I have plans to get it inked and colored at some point in the near future.Zephyr belongs to me ^__^

I love doing AU stuff, the only issue I've had is that I get really into some of the details and get bummed that they're AU details later. 
Zeph's younger AU self looks awesome. Is that a school uniform?

Messing around in an AU can be all kinds of fun and quite interesting in terms of where it can lead a character and change his/her life in ways that aren't possible in the regular universe. I think Nezu and I have both already run across some interesting traits in our characters that we hadn't really seen manifest before and it's so fascinating to watch them work through it.

We are having an absolute blast with this AU and I'm sure it'll all get posted once we have enough to be worth other people reading. It's so much fun to see them all in a different setting with a different set of circumstances and watch how it all unfolds.

AU is great since you don't necessarily have to conform to the rules of the regular universe. There's a bit of freedom there that can be quite refreshing as well as a chance to put a character[s] into a situation that they may not otherwise find themselves in and see how they react. It's been so much fun so far and I hope you enjoy it once it starts getting posted. ^__^
