Description Lost in her presence
I took a step further forward
Would she respond, look at me again.
Had she accepted the apologies long ago?
Phone calls not returned, a small get-together
I would like to not have to apologize, so I leave it be
A migraine that hides itself in the back of my mind
Do I care for her reply? Does it matter what she has done or said? No.
No I do not. It is not that that I don't concern myself with my love for her, No
It is not why I don't concern myself with her well being, No it is not
It is her herself, she is too much unlike me, and yet was/is so close to me
Maybe time will change her and me for the better?
I'll keep in touch, not lose the connection,
Maybe it will be better in the future?
Change is inevitable; I can only hope.

I can definitely relate to this! It reminds me of my relationship with my little sister: strained. Which is strange, because my relationship with my twin is so much closer. It's like night and day...

It's the coolest thing in the world. I tell my twin things that I wouldn't tell my best friend or my parents. XD

Not too many... Well, usually it makes social situations harder because you don't really need anyone but your twin. You don't have as many friends, and I admit I'm a little dependent (well, a lot) on Mallory. And people confuse us all the time and find the whole twin thing to be a good conversation starter (which it's not!).

Other than that, though, it's like being born with your best friend. I know I'm really lucky to have a twin!

The poem is very moving and I think it really is a beautifully done response to 's poem. I can definitely relate to the feelings and i think it flows wonderfully.
