Description
Used to designate traffic lanes for stations via low-band broadcast, radar reflection, and signal light. The Type I is composed of a central orb with upper and lower antenna masks, providing a distinctive shape. Four-way thrusters on four panels allow the buoy to maneuver for station-keeping or avoidance, aided by eight multi-function radar panels mounted above and below each thruster. Four modular service panels are provided for easy maintenance - from left to right: Command, Transmitter, Power Cell, and Fuel Ports.Worker drones refuel buoys on station, re-position or shuttle to and from maintenance bays.

Admittedly, this one is more fun than the usual can type. And I learned a new trick or two in sketchup - parallel projection, to turn a 3d object into a flat image without perspective, so I can use it to do the kind of displays you do so very well.
