hehe, sorry for all the questions, but i want to cosplay vash, and you have the best outfit that i have seen by far.

XS I really should make a tutorial for all of this some day...you're certainly not the first to ask all of these questions...and likely not the last...
Material is leather (boots and some of the straps are pleather, but the rest is authentic cow)
references were the manga and a custom model kit
Pattern was heavily altered from a simplicity matrix coat pattern
leather doesn't burn. The holes were made to look that way with shoe polish and leather finish
on the pants and arm, if you mean what did I use for straps, mostly belts from goodwill, and other scraps of leather. Alot of the arm was either made from scratch or heavily altered, but most of the belts on the legs are unaltered (didn't see the point of doing anything to them since they're mostly hidden by the coat anyway)

knee pads are just old skating pads that I took the foam padding out of and the toes are leather painted silver and glued onto the boots.

I can't decide which on I like more: this cosplay or your Kaiba one. @_@ They're both really amazing. I can't even imagine how much time it took to put that much detail into this one outfit.
