well, where there's a will there's a way, both in cosplay and in going to conventions. I eventually plan to go to some of the larger cons myself, but currently can't do to funds. But I won't let that stop me in the long run, and you shouldn't either. If it's your wish to go to an american con than go for it! Just be patient and save up and keep an eye out for opportunities

oooooooooooooohhh dude! this reminds me~ yesterday some friends and I went to a little cosplay picnic...and well my friend made a Gurren Lagann cake! lol I drew some of the characters as little paper figure to stick on the cake. and so the way it turns out is....we showed up to the picnic...and....it just so happens that Kamina's voice actor is there! XD XD we had noooo idea he was gonna be coming! XD but lol he loved the cake and even did like a little video of us and twittered it XD so now I'm like loling that after all this I get a Gurren Lagann cosplau stuff on my da lol

It's not the same spot, but it's not far from there. Missouri has a lot of rocky hills in it, so wherever there's highways there are bound to be plenty of spots like this xD
