Description
Sounds like a sequel to a movie doesn't it? Well, it's been over a year since I put this costume on, and more than two years since I brought it to a Texas convention, so I thought it was about time to dust off the duster and bring one of my old favorites back to life. I styled a new wig for the occasion, and was able to get some excellent pictures, such as this one
Vash costume was a collaborative work between myself and my birthfather. Modelled by me.

I know right? I remember when there were quite a few Vash cosplays but the hype died down eventually. I was actually happy to see five or six at Akon this year :]

There's an anime i haven't watched in a long time. I love the holes you guys made in the bottom of the jacket. How did you do it?

quite easy actually, I used coins and traced the holes as I wanted them and then cut them out with a small pair of scissors. I then used shoe polish and leather stainer to darken the edges like they'd been burned/smoked

lol, I don't think Zack (strippervash) has even cosplayed Vash for a few years now. He definitely had a good act going back in the day though

well, eventually I want to branch out to other cons around the US as well, though it will be over the next few years mind you. But if you keep an eye out on my journals I'll always update when I'm going to new cons

i cosplayed as vash the stampede at akon this year and my girl freind went as meryl stryfe ...OK fun story time im at the con standing around a stranger walks while im dressed as vash and says "you've got competition" and i was like what?? then i looked at my gf and was i like i bet ex shadows is here lol i was so happy ur costume is hands down the best Ive ever seen and Ur the whole reason i did the vash cosplay
