"I want to be happy, I want to feel loved, I want to... be at piece... All I'm surrounded by these shadows, and it's all my fault. My selfishness and self-hatred have trapped me here. And now I'm wondering if I can get out. Distorted, hurt, sad- that's how my eyes see me when I look in the mirror. One day, I wish to feel the warmth. But for now, I'm content to stay here, and wallow in self-pity, even though I know I shouldn't. I'm a testimony to the things I hate most."

Very, very sad piece. The reason why she's here, pretty much open to interpretation. I just had this image in my head after listening to "River" the Glee version.
