I hate so much the results of this drawing but I refuse to start it again.

Simba didn't usually get up this early. Timon and Pumbaa used to wake up around noon to immediately go look for insects with him. But that new day was a new beginning for him. He has returned home, and now he's the king.

The nerves made him wake up so many times at night. The first rays of sunlight entered the cave and then decided finally to get up.

He watched all the pride sleeping, noticing that Samafi wasn't there.

He walked into the cave, careful not to step on the lionesses.

It used to be more easy when he was a cub.

Now out of the cave, he stretched his body, opening his mouth to yawn.

He sees his sister sitting on the top of the rock, giving her back.

He approached her silently. Samafi moved one of the ears and turned her head to see him.

-Good morning- she said with a smile.

Simba could see his right eye irritated, and the skin on his face a little swollen by the burns. He also noticed that his right paw was not completely on the ground.

-Are you okay?- He asked, walking a little further until he reached her side and sat down.

-It only burns a little. That's all. I'm fine- she directed her gaze to the claw marks on her shoulder blade.

-You should go with Rafiki for healing you-

-I was planning to go today, but due to the drought, it was difficult for him to find medicinal plants-

-Wow. I would never think that Rafiki wouldn't have plants. He always has mountains of it that reach the branches-

Samafi laughed a little. She also remembered those moments when she was a cub.

After that there was silence. The lioness's smile gradually disappeared as her ears moved back.

The lioness nodded her head and stood up as well.

She walked following her brother. It took a little more work to get down the rocks with only three useful legs.

-But then I will update you on the things that have happened in those years-

-Deal- the lion smiled, walking with his sister towards the monkey tree.

This scene happens the next morning of Scar's death. Simba has some scratches on his face from the battle but will heal without any scars.
