Fanart isn't generally my thing, but for some reason I was compelled to do this one. So this is my interpretation of Daenerys Targaryen from George R. R. Martin's wonderful fantasy series "A Song of Ice and Fire."When I started this painting months ago, my initial plan was to include a background and her dragons. So one of these days I may decide to do that, but I'm going to leave it at this for now.
The face was the only thing I used a reference for, although I did try to change it a bit to make her look younger. Photoshop CS and Wacom tablet.

I'm thankful that they aged her in the TV series. I've heard that she was only 13 when given to Drogo, and that doesn't sit right with me.

Beutiful work! I think the head is a bit too big for her body, but the face is amzing - she looks very young, beautiful and smart - perfect Dany! Amazing hair as well!
