I like this one. I've never been able to get a drop like that. Especially with the motion streaks behind it like in the pic. Thanks again

I like it very much. Think I have to drink some water now, cause I got thirsty, lol.
I like the darkness of the background and the light in the drop

Thanks! I spent 6 hours on the hood of my car with a plastic bag around the cam while it poured....Kidding. This shot was taken in my stainless steel sink with the faucet set to drip steady (when you can still make the drops out, but not too sparse or they don't move fast enough to get the motion blur). The drops are shot at the bottom of the stream so they get bigger. The background was the stainless steel sink.
Lotsa fun, but you have to keep wiping the lens from the splashes.

I had this amazing studio setup, where i was illuminating a glass of water imensly (cant spell ) Well i was trying to capture the path of a rock through the water, one problem was the first shot the glass shattered, and by the time i got it all set up again i didnt have time. Im going to go back and try it again because it looked really interesting.
Ive got a studio shoot planned for easter hols for some model photography, one for me to build portfolio and secondly for the girl to obtain pictures for modeling. I working along side 2 other photographers, in total theres going to be 7 cameras , its going to be fun
.

Hope you get the rock thing going. Sounds like a great idea! I'm just starting to have fun with the crazy effects of water, and might move on to different and more corrosive liquids (like drano) on various objects. Hopefully you'll post the rock and easter shots when they're done. I look forward to seing them.

Ill def post the easter shots, but itl be a long time maybe, were getting the prints proffesionally done so i dont fuck up in the dark room (as i usally do lol, somthing to experiment in lol) so itl take time for them to be done. Worth it tho.
When i get my new camera ill redo the rock shots, on a better backdrop and better lighting conditions .

thanks. I had lots of fun with this. Basically I just got really close to the faucet and started clicking away. Manual focus with 100mm macro. I didn't expect to get the motion streaks from the water, so I thought that was a nice touch.
