Wanted to show a progression of how I work in Illy, not that anyone actually asked, but hey here you anyways Each image is a separate layer, 1 being the bottom and 7 being the top. These aren't the actual layers I was working with, these have been cleaned up and converted form brushes and other objects into welded shapes. The pathfinder was also used at this point to chop off all the stuff I hide behind a compound path frame while working. For some reason I hate clipping masks and practically refuse to use them, unless absolutely necessary. What you see is almost always what you get.
