I realize now that her jacket isn't supposed to be blue, but that's how it was in the ref. I ain't gonna recolor that, no sir-ree. Instead I'm gonna put my big boy pants and admit it: I messed up the ref the first time. I didn't watch the show in MTV! I didn't know she was supposed to have a black jacket! And you now who told me? No one. That's right. I was left to wallow in the fact that I had gotten the color of the jacket wrong, and you all watched as I did nothing and said nothing.

Now, to be fair, I like blue. It comes in various colors - teal is my favorite, hence why I use it with Fei, another of my OCs - and is very flexible. It contrasts with orange and red, and maybe sometimes yellow. You know what you can't do with blue? Swap it with black. Nope. No sir. No way, Jose. No way, no how. That is just... well, it is the criminal equivalent of wearing different colored socks. That, of course, invokes the rule of not telling that person that they're wearing different colored socks. You sit there in the back of the classroom and crack a quiet joke about it to one of your friends and laugh about it and forget it later on. You don't say it to their face, or loud enough so that the person being made fun of can hear you - that's just being a bully. It's fine, I believe, if instead you tell them after you make the joke because you feel a little guilty for making fun of them after class. And then guess what? They do it on purpose! They wear different colored socks on purpose, not because they did it in a hurry in the morning in an attempt to catch the bus, but because they just like to wear the different colored socks differently. It's heinous, and now instead of feeling guilty they are laughing at you, not because you made fun of them, but because you were not aware of the fact that they did it on purpose.

Well, guess what? I made her jacket light blue on purpose. That's right. I'm the one wearing the different colored socks here. I made that mistake, not unaware, no, but on purpose. And now I get to sit here and relish in your mock surprise.

That's right. You've been japed.
