Description Happy one year anniversary, Dungeons & Drawings . Woo, lordy. Personally, I'm quite impressed we've managed to keep this up, especially since I have the unfortunate habit of dropping projects before they even get started.

Anyway, for our anniversary we decided to do gods. Here's Pelor , the god of the sun, healing and all that good stuff, rising over the mountains. Joe did Wee Jas , goddess of death and magic, emerging from some sort of horrifying primal womb.

L-l-l-late comment. I'm quite fond of this anthropomorphized version of Pelor. It reminds me of Khepri of Egypt, who was coincidentally also a solar deity. In this case either depicted as a beetle who rises the sun with his back legs, or more notably a man with an entire beetle for a head( I guess etching an insect head was kind of hard).

The stained-glass look is neat and works well for Pelor.

Man, my group has SO many Pelor jokes. Most involve praying to him using the words "nifty" and "spiffy".
