Concept/Illustration for my current game project: Dark Memories. This is the mystical start setting for the game called Everfall. You can check out what we have started here- darkmemories.com/forums .~20 Hours - PS:CS 2 - painted from scratch with texture and composition post-processing.

I saved this awhile back, but I was too strung up in the picture, I didn't comment, nor add it to my favorites. I intend to rectify that.
Everfall, for some reason that word really entices me. Then I view this here picture. To put it simply, beautiful scenery. But see, as I keep looking at this, I get into the picture. I look passed the mountains and wonder what's on the other side. I look at the traveller, and I want to be the traveller. I want to hike up this warm, lush, colorful land to the mountain. I imagine the view would be epic. The fact that this deviation did that, and actually still does that to me, makes it an extremely worthwhile, masterful, and astonishing work of art.

I love the colors and lighting, and the atmospheric haze around the mountain base. The only thing that throws me off is the use of the leaf brush. But still excellent work!

The image is wonderful! the colors all fit perfectly to create that surreal feeling of sunset in the wild... the only thing i'd like to see is maybe some more emphasises... maybe make the waterfall a bit bigger, or more apparent, i dunno.... i think it's just because i like waterfalls though, and not because it's actually necessaryXD

holy............. this is one of the most profound pieces of artwork I have ever seen in my life.. I mean the sunset is so clear and the mountains are just so clear.... THe leaves and senary add a most realistic effect that I only see in very good pictures. your coloring is so great it just keeps the realism flowing.... I'll say that you've done a very good job and deserved this in the daily deviation list..... keep it UP!!!

You've done an excellent job here. The lighting and shadowning in the piece is superb.

Very, very nice, but the title is waaaaaay too big and distracting for a print. You put so much emphasis on the title that it makes the art look like a CD or videogame cover, which--upon reading your comments--is exactly what this is! Duh! Stupid me! But still, I wouldn't want this as a print with such a large and distracting title-art. It looks good, but it takes away from the art itself. Great work.
