I just love the look in their eyes! If I had to take care of a chimpanzee I'd probably relate to it as my own child..they seem so sensitive and intelligent

their natural expression does look sad, she's actually concentrating really hard on the person who feeds her (and the only person allowed in the cage - so they have a special bond), who was next to me...
no need to be sad, i sat around her for about an hour, she is a very very happy chimpanzee, and so intelligent!

lol, am very glad to hear that. I've seen many case of abused and neglected creatures and its really heartbreaking to look into eyes and see the suffering mirrored there while the creature experiences but has no idea why this is happening to them

that is a fantastic shot. you can see the emotion in the eyes just like you would a human. its beautiful.

its amazing watching them, they don't just look around, they like study things, like they really taking everything in... they tap things and touch things... and really are interested by people..
