Description
User:More of a reflective piece.
The calming waves and the deformed sun.
Well...the waves they're not that calming, but furious of a storm that happened long ago.
The place is unknown.
But I pictured this in my head.

I did it on Pen and scanned the artwork and used some Photoshop brushes.

No, yeah this is cool. I really like it. The light house, the waves, the cool colors, and all that other good stuff. Eventhough you say the sun is deformed, it looks like it's a night sky. Oh and I don't see those grey stones as mountains, I see it as a close up view of the shore rocks. Nice work.

Much thanks for the comment yo, I wanted to move away from all those line patterns and create some landscape work.
I hope this will mark the beginning of something new.

I made it my desktop background.
It's so amazing.
If this were on a shirt, I would buy it.
I love designs and such on clothing. :/

A shirt eh?
I will take that in consideration and make it into a shirt.
At first this WAS going to be a shirt but I was like " I should mess around" for a bit.
But now I have 3 different ideas surrounding a Part II and a shirt.
Thanks for that though.

Well it's free to put it on Threadless, isn't it?
So try, and see how it fares.
I WOULD LOVE IT.

Yeah, the only thing you have to pay is your skills in a way.
It's quite silly, but if you win...it all is worth it in the end.

I read up on Threadless, and you actually have to make it into your own shirt before you submit it, right? ..like to take a picture of so they can see what it looks like like? or is it totally just.. you send in your design and they rate it and it might win?
Because I thought what you do is make your design into a shirt first, and then send everything in along with the design and the photo.
I'm really interested in how to make your own shirts using ink and such like they do on Threadless.
Have you ever made one before?
Or submitted a design to Threadless?

You have to download a submission kit that has a PDF format file that includes the shirt colours and such.
You have to make your design in Photoshop or any design program.
You could find the design kit when you go to submit ideas.
The kit should be underlined.

I mean, do you have to make it into your own shirt before you submit your idea?
Or can you just submit the idea through the submission kit?

I mean, you have to come up with your own idea to be put into the running, if there is a break in the copyright issue in using a shirt that's already in the running, most likely they (Threadless) will inform you.

Oh yes, the Great Wave was a good olé inspiration to me a while back but when I finished the piece I was like "Hey! this looks a bit familiar".
I'm planning to making a series out of this
"The Tragic Event of..."
Who knows

The background consists of clouds and were the waves are crashing those are the rocks.
Or I should say the "Beachhead" for those waves.
