Designed during the 23rd century's "golden age of gausstech", this revolver has been out of common use for two thousand years. Recently, however, a few original examples have appeared, and the design has been replicated by Jansamei Neuvotechnica for limited production.
One noted user is the March City crime lord Emma "Heavy Emm" Ikanovich. While she is often hailed as something of a torch-bearer for the old Russian Mafia, Ikanovich is more restrained in her use of force than her predecessors. Nevertheless, she is quite aware of the advantages of demonstrating physical power - which her original Old '57 does perfectly.
