Description
Another relic of a long-lost civilisation, the Distributed Archive is a library spread across an entire solar system. On thousands of rocky objects, from planets to Kuiper asteroids, the Archive's Mobile Bunkers crawl across the landscape of their assigned homes, communicating via archaic FTL systems to keep information flowing between them. As well as fulfilling their role as data storage, the Bunkers still carry out their second mission: adding to the Archive. Anyone who comes near a Bunker is meticulously (but politely) questioned for any scraps of information needed to update the Archive.
