these legs looks like they will brake any moment. they are too thin.

its as thin as i could get them ans still be strong enough to handle the weight. Of course the manufacturer would use the strongest metal they could find to make them with.

yeah but this system would not definetly being used since a medium caliber hit on these will defenitly break em apart ( or make the body smaller to make it a faster scout unit to fit the legs), for this kind of purpose legs would be more approriate. but the rest of the tank is nice.

This one somehow reminds me of the old Total Annihilation Spider Tank.
Can get everywhere to hold down the enemy until the air support carpet bombs the area. But look out that they don't encounter sizable enemy forces or they're scrap.

hmm I'll have to look that up. but yeah smart commanders will not use these thanks as front line units, they are more of flanking or guerilla style tactics. a holding force to pin them down while heavier units move in for the kill.

I personally don't think commanders would deploy those unless they had to. They look a bit on the fragile side or at least the legs do. Anyway nice idea and drawing.

yeah, i didnt think you would want to get caught with the legs out either... But its made to sneak up on unsuspecting enemy units over terrain normally impassible by ground units

This would be a guerrilla warfare tank. Does it get good speed going over that rough terrain?

Its better in urban enviroments, and guerilla tactics. And yes over rough terrain it does very well as the legs can aid the suspension...

Not really easy to from the looks of it. One would think that they would be slow and bulky.

its fast enough when combining the mobility of the legs and the speed of the tracks, it could skate i guess...

Just don't get caught with them out, they are not designed to take on prolonged fire fight...
