If it is a Michigan class destroyer shouldn't the ship have a michigan related name?

This ship look good build wise. To many other ships have these thin areas that would easily be cut off by laser of plasma fire.

thanks but its still a flying Brick. and outdated, I have an advanced ship in the works for NAU, to at least make them usable in a fight with all the other newer hull designs i made for the other nations.

Looks great.
I bet you can make some nice looking weapons too.

yeah, this hull type is badly outdated versus other nations ships, I have a advanced model that is slowly replacing this unit on the drawing boards

Gundam-style bridge! Never seen one in a non-Gundam-related work in a while.

lol, its just a generic bridge

Haha yeah, I guess I should rather say a sea-going ship's superstructure XD. Many sci-fi ship bridges are based on those anyway.

Ah, yet another awesome ship, can't wait for the info to come.

I see the NAU has yet -another- flying bridge though... I guess they'll never learn?

Huh. it's a block. Yes, it has nice clean lines, but it limits the firing arc for the top guns. Plus, that conning tower looks like a mighty fine target.
I guess it could roll to engage targets with the top guns, but still...

oops, forgot to add- the dorsal and ventral turrets are more for directional firepower in the port, starboard, dorsal and ventral arcs. Bow and stern spinal mounts provide forward and rear firepower that blows what the turrets can produce out of the water.

Read the History file over in my gallery, it explains why the NAU is behind the times compared to everyone else (nation in decline) and the Freeman Rebellion illustrates why flying bridges are very, very bad ideas.

um, how?the guns on this ship are set up like most ships...it only limits the forward arc but a slight tilt in angle and they can all fire forward and a little up... or just go left or right and all 6 turrets on top can fire forward.... no limits to turrets on a ship in space and the conning tower is indeed a tasty target that the NAU refuses to get rid of...
