Description Whew... got a lot to say about this one, and pretty much everything I've noticed about it I either love or hate. So, let's start with what little I love.

For starters, I love how I handled the colors this time. I essentially did a relatively thin and not-so-consistent layer of color over everything and used a paper towel to smudge it over all the leftover white space. This meant smoother and better-looking colors at almost every point in the drawing, with the only notable exception being the dress which I almost feel actually works in its favor due to being a different material than anything else in the drawing.
Another thing I love that I did was erase all the sketch lines around the made from the first rough draft. Most of the lines look smoother and cleaner than a lot of my previous drawings because of that, and literally every line that doesn't look smooth and clean is because I rushed through it a bit because I wanted to see my fiancΓ© on her break but I wanted to finish inking first.
The last thing I love about this is that I drew it in my style. I've tried to draw Daisy several times before in a style more akin to the actual art style of the games to no decent avail, and I can confidently say that, despite all the problems this piece has, it's still quite better than all of my previous attempts due to it being in my style.

Now for the negatives, which I will go through a good bit more quickly because of the larger number of them.
First, the ears are way too small. No real reason or thought process behind it, just didn't realize until I stepped away from it for a couple hours and by then it was too late.
Second, the eyes are too far apart. While I did intentionally separate them more to more closely resemble how Daisy looks, it feels very off in this drawing.
Third, her right arm/armpit area is a little funky. It was worse before, but I thought I had fixed it then, only to later realize I most definitely did not after all.
Fourth, her head is all sorts of off. Wanted to do a roundish face on account of her face being more on the round side, but didn't differentiate head shape enough from the "skeleton" I started with before adding features which really came back to bite me.
Fifth, the crown is, based on the reference I used, roughly the same color as her dress, but it feels too dark to me in my drawing and lacks the luster I would expect a crown to have. I did try to make it appear to have luster after coloring but it really doesn't read well because a darkish color was used for the crown.
Sixth, the shoulders are awful. Though that can be attributed to drawing her at a slightly turned angle when I'm bad enough at easier angles as is as well as trying to accommodate for the puffy sleeves of her dress. Speaking of which...
Seventh, the sleeves of the dress are just kind of bad. They're too small and lopsided and look almost like they're just tacked on rather than actually a part of her dress.
Eighth, her arms are... meh. Too thin and straight. That's pretty much it.
And ninth, her boobs have some problems on account of adjusting them several times throughout the process.

All-in-all, this drawing is easily the most controversial one within my own head. Never thought I could both love and hate how something of mine turned out as I do this. Because of that, I really want to try drawing this again in a year from now to the day. That means on November 15, 2022, I want to attempt to draw Princess Daisy in this same way again, when I'm (hopefully) more experienced and capable. At the very least, I'll aim to redo and correct what I discovered I dislike about this one, though I'd love to manage to improve upon the things I found I actually did like about this drawing as well.

With all of that said, thank you for taking your time to look at my art and read its description. Let me know what you think! ^_^
