Well, where to begin. I guess it all started at Sears at my mall back in 1996. Where I went off and did my childish gaming needs. The Saturn was one of my favorite systems to play, and I always played it before everyone else did at the mall. Even if I had to fight my way through to it. Then one day, I headed to my gaming area where I found there to be some purple jester like character on the screen. The title was NiGHTS into Dreams. NiGHTS into Dreams... Where did I hear that name before? Oh, yes! I remember reading the ads and reviews of it in the game magazines I ordered. Lots of hype came from it, thanks to Naka. So my inner kid kicked in and I played. And from the first time in a while, I enjoyed the game and it's colorful look. It's mesmorizing music. And it's fun factors. I honestly enjoyed the game.

I never bought the game, sadly, but I knew some people who had it, so I ended up borrowing theirs and finished it within a set time. I don't remember exactly. But after I played, I had an urge to draw all the characters. Like a piece of me was telling me to draw. And so I did. I drew for a small bit, then went on my way with my life.

It wasn't til a later time in the years did I remember about NiGHTS. But it took a special someone to remind me about dreams and what I should believe in. And that someone was Melinda. She made me feel all warm and colorful inside. After I got back in touch with my dream self, I sort of stumbled across an artist by the name of Lynne who was inspired by this lovable dream jester of purple. But she saw him in a different way. More like a real being. Her inspiration. Her imagination. She devotes her work to him, and I devote my work to dreaming and believing. So, here's my little something to my experience with NiGHTS into Dreams.
