A bounty hunter concept that more or less popped into my brain one day.

He has the notion that bounty hunters should be somewhat restrained when competing with each other to bring in a bounty. Sure, you can do the equivalent of running the other guy off the road when you're both chasing the target or shoot out his tires, but intentionally murdering somebody else purely for going after your bounty is just bad behavior. For people who play by his rules, Rourke carries a stunner pistol and an electro-sword with non-lethal settings, and his spaceship has ion cannons. For those who fail to show "professional courtesy," he tends to butcher them and/or their families and leave the parts in very conspicuous locations.
