It s Malefor again. This time I m practicing his elemental breath attacks. For fire, ice and electricity I ve used some tutorials. earth is all out of my mind.Related content

Yes, I know. I was lazy that day, so I just focused on hte four "main"-elements in that pic. I m planning to make another one with the "dark" elements and one extra for convexity (once I ve overcome my art-block)

Yep, Malefor is simply badass! It s funny, I actually never wanted to draw a comic about him, but some inspiring comments changed my mind! (oh, I m just so easy to influence XD !)

did Malefor master other elements as well? you forgot air and convexity but there could be others

Yeah, I fans are speculating that Malefor could also use Poison, Fear, shadow, and yes: Wind. However, I decided to only draw the four elements he used in the Dawn of the dragon endfight (did he use convexity in that battle? Don t really remember). Technically, you re right. I m just a lazy person, and my capsular injury in my drawing hand doesn t make it any better. It was just something fast.

Poison and so on are "dark" elements - In the beginning, the chronicler mentioned that. He said to Cynder, that thanks to her past in the darkness, she could use that elements (What kind of ruins the fact, that only the purple dragon can master more than one element). I think, Spyro could learn this elements, too. I think, they didn t gave Spyro these elements for some reasons: 1. Too overpowered (Or just trouble with the limited amount of keys you got on Controllers. You can code two different moves to one button, what makes controlling harder. It was still a game designed for younger players) 2. They wanted two player - so what should they give Cynder?
I would still like Spyro to have that elements, too (I loved Cynders Shadow element :3). I don t know, if you knew that, but I want to do a Comic (or maybe I just write it down) about the rise and fall of Malefor (What you were watching is conceptual art for that). In that story, Malefor will get the dark elements after he turned evil (or at least, not straight good anymore, in his first steps of getting twisted), training this powers secretly.

Yes, I m planning in making it a comic! The only problem is time. I ll try to do the first page til middle august, but I can t promise that.
About Spyro: Yes, I think that will be required. It are dark elements, so he first needs to get used to and get full control over his dark side. And that s something I m not sure of that it will happen.

Would be awesome! As mentioned, I loved the shadow element. A legend sequel with the ability to turn into dark spyro and learn dark skills would be just to awesome! (multiple endings and story paths?)

I think, they mentioned that you can use your old Skylanders in Giants and can level them up to level 15. Don t know, if it s true, but that s what I ve heard.

I ve heart that they also create new ones. A few pictures of new Skylanders are already on the net. (I think they even wanted to introduce a new element - Core of Light element or something like that, not 100% sure about that). But don t ask me, how many new ones there will be. I just know 100% sure about the starter packs: for portal owners: pack with one giant and the software for 60€ - and for non portal owners a pack with 2 gen 2 Skylanders, Giant, Portal and software for 80€. Also the Gen2 Skylanders are suposed to glow, when placed near the portal - and again: Not sure if they put that in - I m a little bit worried about the magnetic field of that (also: batteries running time)

that is awesome! the base of the giant are suppose to be small so them and a skylander both can be on (not 2 sure though)plus ur right about batteries running time might be something 2 consider.

(capsular injury - That word makes sense? I ve used google translate for that) Yeah. Nothing bad. It s just swollen and hurts. Will be good in about one, two weeks. It s just hard using a pencil right now.
And now that I try to recall the battle: He used convexity! That were this flying spheres (He shot about 5 at one time) in the flight part of the battle (and in the ending cutscene)

It s from one of my drawing books: It s called: drawing dragons (what a title!) from Jim Hansen/ John Burns. It s a nice little tutorial book that has the instructions to draw some different dragons. There is some info written next to each dragon.

I can translate you the text:
the african dragon, alias winged dragon or wyvern, is related to the western dragon and his body is pretty similar to it. very interesting, i got confused by the acid bit...acid comes in other colors but i thought acid corrosion, not the yellow hue variety, and come to think of it. there are a few stories warning if dragon blood's lethality, while others tell of its beneficial properties

Yeah, I ve heard that, too (one of the best examples for it s benefits is the Nibelungenlied). I think that changes with the origin of the stories. Does this only change from dragon species to species, or even within a special kind of dragons? (I think you know more stories than me)
