Description
We walk down barefootThrough the south
You carry your guitar
Loosely slung over newly broad shoulders
Walking out of the busy city
We find a quite place
And tumble down
Letting the sun freckle our skin
Your little notes stick to my shoulder
And I see them drift up when I turn my head
The grasses itches at my legs
As we sink deeper into it
Clouds wander over a bright sky
There light blinds our blue and chestnut eyes
Everything was warm
On the blacktop as we ran
Cracks and ware in the quite place
The sun shown down
And I could not frown
