At E3 earlier this week, it was announced that Double Fine will be making a very special addition to the PS4/PS Vita library in the (hopefully near) future -- Grim Fandango Remastered.I don't know about you guys, but I have been shitting my pants with excitement for about four days straight now (and I totally didn't start sobbing when I found out no siree). And yet, simultaneously, I feel oddly at peace with my life. Every time I feel bad, I just say "Grim Fandango Remastered" to myself and it kind of puts everything in perspective. How can I get hung up on life's little problems when this game is making a comeback? The answer is I can't. Because life's pretty damn awesome right now.

My brother and I are getting into this game for the first time ever because of the remaster released yesterday (though we've been looking forward to it for much longer, especially since Sam & Max got us into point-and-click adventure games within the past two years), so I went looking for this piece to show him (because I'd seen it before). I didn't realize why I knew about this one until I saw that you also did Ratchet & Clank stuff too; I was like "OHHH THAT'S why I've seen this before!" XD
Great game so far, really liking it :3 Happy to see older franchises getting new life and newer players getting a chance to play what they might've missed. And this picture is fantastic X3 Somehow, I think Glottis is shaping up to be my favorite character in the game.

And now that it's out I'm TOTALLY not giddy like a school girl or anything, nope not at all.
On a more serious note though I don't think I can express enough how much I love this picture, Manny and Glottis is probably my favorite duo in any video game, hell in any visual medium overall and this pretty much captures my reaction for the remastered version almost perfectly. I only now searched for Grim Fandango pics here on DA and it makes me ecstatic to see that the love for this game is still very real : )
