Description The never changing streets understand where my mind is coming from
They never comment but I know they're listening
To my unvoiced thoughts of you and my let out sighs
Your face is on every penny I find and every wish is devoted to your name
Selfishly I ask for you to still love ME, not about your happiness only my own
I imagine getting home and hearing your voice on the inaudible machine that has begun to consume my life
Of course there is nothing but my father sending his love, and for the rest of the night I wander around the house, having to remind myself that you're not in the refrigerator.

wow. great emotion in this one. I had to leave my girlfriend for college three years ago. It was hard but she came down with me a year later. Now she is leaving again for grad school next year I know how it feels.

When a romance ENDs...is it ever pleasant? Are well ever totally "well"?

I don't know... I have had relationships that have ended pleasantly, where both parties agree it is for the best, and can mantain a friendship, or at least a civilty.... all I meant by the title was something that that grew so passionate and intense within two weeks and then ending will never, in my opinion end well.

Ok. Sorry, sort of a silly question...

My god! How do you do it?
It's the ending, again. You make the greatest endings I know of.
The whole poem is good but the ending:
Of course there is nothing but my father sending his love, and for the rest of the night I wander around the house, having to remind myself that you're not in the refrigerator.
It's just great and really ties the whole thing together.
I mean the refrigerator, how do you come up with this stuff? It's really good.

Once again thank you so much! The refrigerator came to me, because I noticed that I would walk around my apartment and I would always come back to the fridge, I'd open the door (not really being hungry)... and let out a huge sigh, that's when I realized that he wasn't going to pop out of the refrigerator and talk to me...in order to get something accomplished I'd have to get the hell out of the apartment, and go find him... of course I didn't do that... so that's where that came from...I'm so glad you like my stuff, thanks!

Oh wow. Such emotion. Excellent.
And I kinda know where you're coming from. Especially the 5th line- it hits so close to home (haha- the way I word things sometimes just gets to me)
It's totally tripendicular!

Thanks, I really appreciate it. Break-ups suck, especially when you think everything is going just fine, and then BAM! they turn out to be shmucks.
