Little onealways pretty, creamyΒ Β face
nimble hands
childlike and tiny
can do wonders for a girl
with no real mother
starshine, little one knows
how the universe formed
crayola pens tell the story
of the afterglow
fair hair and little one is freckled
only in summer with brown bright eyes
and she sings to the hot air filling her
space that she formed with ink and the
trees don't mind lending their supplies
little one is content around street sounds
and after the long day she kisses her world
and rests in a place only she reaches and I know
the universe was made for her

I'm glad it made you smile! I write literally whenever I feel like I have something to say.. I'd like to be able to tell you I write everyday, but I usually go through periods where I write like crazy and can't stop, followed by sometimes months where nothing comes out.... how about you?

I go through crazy writing/inspiration periods during which I try to write everyday...and then I tend to stop for a little while. I need to stop forcing out my poems, but it seem whenever an idea pops into my head--I am a million miles from paper or any writing implement. There you have it...
