i am bloatedon a Monday morning
(mind, flesh, protruding stomach)
i have sores growing
aching
throat dry, raw
begging for the comfort of
cool water (being kept down)
declaration of love
swarms and makes me feel light headed
(heart or stomach?)
it is repeated in my mind
when my strategic planning is all i can think of
(count the steps on the tile)
observe the color of the hideous, daunting wallpaper(pink:floral)
the distance from my mouth to the bowl
(to your lips)
you are now inside (i refuse to purge you)
rub my back, it aches so
(i am breaking)
i am sorry about so much (i wish i had an excuse, but all i got is
"because i can")
i cannot honestly tell you the color of your eyes
the colors melt together and i forget how to form words in my mouth, your eyes make no sense
(or I am too selfish, so say you know the color of mine)
but i do know the freckles on your nose
(i could wake you with that knowledge,
but i cannot pull off the pseudo-sweetness)
you will roll over in annoyance and i will be crushed (my heart breaks like i am 13)
i am nervous you tell me,
only because you are far too beautiful for me
(and it shows)

Love is both a blessing and a curse, it makes you both weak and strong, both happy and sad, both secure and nervous. Weird isn't it?
To tell him what colour his eye's are may be cute but it's really just a gesture that may or may not have meaning and weight. But his current girl-friend actually writes poetry about him, if that doesn't mean something I don't know what does.
Anyway, the poem...

Do you ever feel as if your logical/rational side of you is always in constant argument with this crazy/irrational side of you. It's like they are duking it out all the time.
