Not sure if anyone's done this yet buttttt, this stamp is pretty self explanatory, I made it for all the koopaling fans who still believe they are his kids.me personally I don't like the concept of them NOT being his kids and jr. being his only, I think the koopalings still being his kids makes more sense (not saying jr being his kid doesn't make sense)
the koopalings are classic, I've grown up knowing them as his kids, & I'm still gonna see them that way, & I'm pretty sure that's how others feel aswell.

bowser jr was named after bowser, and morton jr was supposedly named after bowser's grandfather, i believe. so no.

Good point. Β But, technically, there's nothing in the Mario cannon about Bowser having a father or grandfather whom we've seenβ¦unless Nintendo says otherwise.

the guy irl hes named after is morton downey jr, but yeah i dont think theres an official explanation for it in canon.
honestly i dont even remember where i got that it was his grandfather, so who knows if the source is even reputable. once in a nintendo power issue bowser was asked about it but he just threw bombs at the reporters and claimed he didnt have a son lmao

In spite of his statement the relationship between the Koopalings and Bowser is kept purposely ambiguous. So nobody can call anybody wrong. I like to think the Kooplings are young-adults/teens at this point and Bowser Jr. is a younger kid that Bowser favours more.

I think what Miyamoto means that the Koopalings related to Bowser by blood, but Bowser adopted them. I guess Bowser has a soft spot for kids. I think Miyamoto might made Bowser more awesome. :3

I don't think Junior being his kid makes sense. Β Bowser just got jealous when he saw that Mario and Peach and Luigi and even Daisy brought baby mini-me's back from the past and he haaaad to create his own mini-me clone so he broke into E. Gadd's lab and cloned himself and the clone took an ectoplasmic powered paintbrush while he was at it. Β He lied to everybody about the clone being his kid because he wound up liking the clone better than his own kids and he found some loophole that allows him to make his clone the heir instead of Ludwig. Β
Or maybe Bowser got seduced by a succubus and Junior is their demon spawn bastard child which has the spiritual influence powerful enough even to retcon Bowser's entire history of being father to the Koopalings.

Miyamoto saying they aren't Bowser's kids bugs me as well. For almost two decades they were his kids in every game and the animated show.
I know its only the Mario universe we're talking about but why create such an obvious contradiction when there is no need to?
