This took me 3 minutes but somehow got over 100,000 notes on Tumblr. I don't even. Internet, you are wierd.Anyway though I'd post it.

It's asking for you to come up with your own tumblr url, not that you have to already have one.
On top of what SmartyNinja said, the URL isn't your username but it incorporates your username (like on deviantart).

URL is like a web address. For example, "www.deviantart.com". URL is simply your username. Say if your username is going to be ilikepizza, then you just type that into the box that says URL and your URL (web address) for your tumblr page will be "ilikepizza.tumblr.com" get it? 8D I was confused at first too.
