Description      I remember a time I did not have to worry... a time that I was...'Human'. Those were the happiest days of my life! With my father. You'd think a homunculus wouldn't have human memories, do to they must not be human, just dolls made by alchemy, but I was human. My mother, Dante and my father, Hoenheim. Back in those of days my life I was happy and I felt no hate towards my family, well until, he left. I might as well tell you why I'm babbling on like this.
“Papa, you're back from work!” I used to greet him everyday at the door with that phrase. And he would always pick me up and swing me around! His golden eyes were so filled with pleasure everyday, seeing my smile.
“Amaya I believe you've grown taller,” the way he said it was like a lovely bell, but I knew I hadn't. He saw my pouting expression, “No, this time I mean it! Let's go to the post.” In a split second I zoomed on to the back room and one of our servants measured me, I perked my wolf-like ears up to make me seem a little taller, Anna gave me the look that read 'now come on young mistress please'. I sighed and lowered them. My father grinned as he hugged me.
“Yes young mistress, you've grown one inch since last month,” says Anna, the servant that measures me and my favorite one. This was the first time in a couple months. “ Oh, and young one, I've received word a friend of yours is on his way.”
“Yay! Jacob's coming! Ethan will you play with us today!” Ethan my older brother was always tending to mother's needs, but I did not get why she needed secret help. He sat on the beautifully decorated wooden chair, that papa brought home a few months prier. I raced to him hoping onto his lap and hugged him with a big smile, he was much older then I, his blonde hair much like papa's, gold in a sense, his eyes a dark gold like papa's.
He smiled at me and patted my head, “I'm sorry but mother need's me to help her again, maybe next time,” I was upset, I mean he always said that, all the time, it was mama, he never had time for me! He kissed me on the forehead and I hopped down. I ran to Kannah, my pet wolf hybrid. She hopped into my arms and started licking my face, tail wagging as fast as a horse could gallop. Kannah always seamed to make me feel better. But as fast as her tail began to wag it stopped. Her head perked up as she sniffed the air. Leaping out of my arms she ran, barking at our large wooden door. Anna slid Kannah out of the way to open it reveling a young boy with dark-brown, spiky hair, his smile was dorky and he wasn't dressed like a boy of my lineage would. I would tackle him to the ground, “Jacob!”
