I've never heard that the goth stereotype was pale...more like just not...something black people did. I really like goth fashion though and thank you very much!

My favorite fahsions of all time are sweet lolita and neo-victorian goth.....sadly its really expensive to dress in two completely different styles T.T....I also never really studied emo subculture. I know the basic but not much which makes me wanna cry lol.

~sweet lolita is uber cute ~ i liked the emo subculture for myself because i thought i couldn't pull off the loli look >.<~

and yea emo's have stereotypes also but there so not true >-<.. [link] < one of my friends suicidalrain her poems are kinds depressing but all emos dont cut themselves x]' ~ out of most subcultures i think its the only look i could pull off lolz~

I really don't believe in stereotypes because they aren't always right and I don't judge based on a alternative lifestyle.
You friend is really pretty and she's a vegan!!! Yay!!! What makes you think you can't pull off lolita and does 'Emo' have any sub-styles like 'Goth' or is it only one style??? sorry I'm just

~also starting a club for Goth's of color lolz~ iv saw a lot of people saying there's been a lot of hate agents darker skin'd goths in the basic goth of emo clubs ~

oh emo is kinds like goths lil brother~
x3 lolz its an easy way to put that there sum what related~ well doing i lot of research a while ago it says the difference between goth and emo is that goths hate everyone and everything emos just hate themselves and existence~ xD

witch i dont think is intiraly true eather while emos might a little depressing thair not bad at all ^~^

the only problem is my skin is a bit darker than the whole pale like a gost stereotype of emos but im gradually getting over it~ because i would much rather be myself than what most mainstream kids are into at my school -.-~

When I dressed in goth fashion I always HATED that everyone thought I hated everthing! Thats like one of the worst stereotypes ever T.T.
Also the when your in a subculture the stereotypes aren't looked at as rules. More like guild lines and they aren't taken THAT seriously. Also I don't know about emo but goth does accept different races, genders, religions ect. It looks like you got your info from just spectators.

so true >.<~ everyone at my school thinks hate everything- but i would much rather deal with that stereotype thin the basic stereotype that we all watch mtv,bet listen to rap and eat chicken -.-~ that's the worst stereotype- but hopefully people will be a bit more accepting of goths and emos or darker colors after a while because they said the whole point of the emo hing was to look as pale as a gost and oveusly it would be harder for emos of color to pull the look off.. :L
