um. i forget unless im faced with it. but get a new layer ontop of your lines. go to the bucket fill thing and select the gradient option.
fill it to 100%. it will fill the whole page and on the layer box thing it will have an option iunno what its called but you can scroll with it. choose overlay and it will be there and done ^_^""
