I have a great respect for digital art. It takes as much time and talent to create as any of the tradional mediums.

I use a cheaper, small Wacom tablet, (8 inches by 8 inches) and it cost me about 100 bucks. It's great for beginners, though I have to tell you, you may not like it at first, as tablets take some time to get used to. when I first got my tablet I practically hated it, now after lots of practice I love it!^^
and that may be true that your not a picasso now, but after 5 years of practice, I'd say you would be amazing if you kept it up!! I'm still pretty young, and always improving. actually, I even see a big difference (in my opinion

I wish I could do that! That's gorgeous-- especially since its your first try. I find it extremely difficult to do digital art, but I hope that if I keep trying I can eventually do something like that!

Ik, a lot of my friends act like digital art is really simple to do (they haven't tried it themselves), so they are always telling me to try and do more of the traditional art with pencils, but I think it's a very challenging and beautiful art ^^ I used mostly mouse, and I used a tablet a couple of times for some of the lines, especially the eyelashes. it's really hard to get smooth, flowing lines with a mouse. good luck, I hope you become the next digital Picasso (ahaha, is that even how you spell it?) ^____^

ehehe, it took me like 3 hours to do it ^^ I just put on color after color, and I also used a drawing tutorial to help me with the highlights and shadows. Thanks so much, I'm happy you like it!
