I have a hard time drawing humans. I KNOW THEY'RE NOT THAT GREAT, LEAVE ME ALONE. >.<

I couldn't find a category that was both mixed media and fanart. Okaayy....I figured the fanart category was more important, and I did draw them cartoonish.

So anyway. This was a current event for art class. The guy who played Mr. Scott (Scotty) on Star Trek The Original Series died a while ago, and they sent his ashes up into space, along with several other people's, on a missle or something like that (can't remember, I did this a while ago).

Sooooo...I've got (and I know it's hard to tell), Spock, Kirk, and Sulu. I figured that since they're all still alive I should use them They're in the more formal uniform, and you'd wear that to a funeral. The thing coming off the earth is a casing for a torpedo, I believe, which is what they put people in when they die on Star Trek, and they launch them into space. So I kinda mixed up the Star Trek funeral with the launching from earth thing. Yyyeeeeeaaahhhh....

I like the Earth a lot. That's really the only part of this a like. XDDD

background: chalk pastel, opaque water color, a little watercolor pencil, and silver & gold markers for the stars. Earth: watercolor pencil, colored pencil and chalk pastel for the clouds and glow. Characters: outlining pens and colored pencil, white out pen for white outline.
