OMG!!
I...I FINISHED IT! I put SO much time and effort into this, and like...I'm DONE! I have so freaking much to say about this, but I'll try and keep it short as I can...(I know it's a lot...the format I used makes it look longer than it is.)General
- characters are from Cirque du Soleil's Kà.
- I know there's probably a million things wrong with the anatomy and whatever else. I'm still learning >.>
- OMFG! HUMANS!!
- I'm totally obessed with Kà right now. And the blue-haired guy is MAH BUDDY. *favorite character*
- They're Cirque characters. Of course they're dressed weird. You really DON'T need to comment about how they look.
- They're standing on the stage. Yes, it's supposed to look like that.
- ...yes. They're supposed to look kinda ugly.
- I am really, really proud of this. It was frustrating to work on and a LOT of the stuff I did I'd never tried before.
Guy on the Left (blue hair)
- Counselor's Son (yeah...that's his name...)
- YES, he is wearing makeup/a skirt/long hair/etc. You really do not need to make some stupid comment about that.
- The greenish stuff on his torso is supposed to be tribal tatoos. Only I suck at them.
- Make a joke about Shakespeare and he'll shove the skull down your throat
(there is a REASON for that skull)Guy on the Right (red hair)
- The Counselor
- is a BANANA (...kidding...)
- has the coolest boots EVAR
- He's holding these stick things which he would click together to make the spearmen do stuff.

And if you can glomp them that means that they are nearby you...I will appear wherever you are simply to glomp them and then vanish like a ninja spearwoman into the night...and steal the Counselor's shoes. It will be disconcerting yet awesome.

I saw Ka a couple weeks ago and have been pretty obsessed since then. Like just about everyone else, I LOVE the Counselor's Son~ Though he's not on the tiptop of my favorites list. He's really hot. ;___; Oh Miro. <333 And I thought The Counselor was awesome in all of his dramatic walking glory.
And, and, this picture is reeeally good! I like all the textures you used~ And the detail on the tattoos, djaksljflk. The background is really nice, too~ And you portrayed the characters really well! Grumpy, grumpy boys.
So happy to be finding Ka art! I've drawn some of my own, too. Just gotta find time to get it finished and up. But there will be Miro, oh yes!

Gosh, I do not understand why everybody likes him, he has such an odd face. Poor guy, he probably has no idea he has all these crazy fangirls XD

He DOES have an odd face! But it's so exotic! Or, it must be the long, swooshy hair. And the fact that he has a great body. Yeees. <3 And lol, yeah, I wonder what he'd do if he knew what a huge fanbase he has... be flattered? Or terrified?
And, strangely enough, my favs from Ka are the Mountain Tribe. <333 I-I don't know, their furry costumes, and their rosy cheeks, and their stupid glasses, I LOVE THEM. Not to mention, the flying machine was pretty sweet. 8D
And that's really true about not being able to see it on TV :< Even if people do hit up Vegas, they might not see the show. So the fanbase is sort of small, waah.

His hair is short, actually, that's just a blue wig! At the very end, when I saw it, he pulled it off and I was like...D: If I were him, I think I'd be terrified. Or maybe he wouldn't care; I heard he has a family, but I don't know how true that is.
I kind of love the group of bad guys, I forget what they're called...not the archers but the other ones. They have round butts @_@

The ones that jump all over the walls and backs of chairs and things. That group. The ones with the tattoos and all that...you might be right, I think it might be the spear men. XD; I can't explain it, it makes no sense, but nice butts are nice. Especially if they have swirly tattoos on them. XD

XD Well...he IS wearing a lot of yellow.
In my Kà program, there's a big picture of Miro standing there looking all -evildeathglare- and holding a skull, and so I decided to have him hold one in my picture...and then later I just knew that one of my friends would make a comment about Shakespeare because of that.

mm...I think you can get the programs from the website, but I'm not sure. At the very least I know that you can get the programs at the other shows. I got my Mystere program when I went to the Ka show, and I think they had the programs for all the other shows there as well.
You should look on the website though, they probably sell them on there.

I'm sorry. Next time you go to a show (or go to a place that has one of the shows) the giftshop should have one. You don't have to be going to a show to look through the giftshop

I really wish I could have met him. T-T I live in Phoenix, 4-5 hours from Vegas, but visit frequently during vacations.

I think the characters should come out and like...take pictures with people or something after the show. They're probably tired, but man, that would be so cool! I'd love to stand in between these two

I thought I found that he was like in his 20's or something...although I could have just assumed since Cirque jobs are pretty active and being young would be pretty important...I dunno. I kinda assumed he wouldn't have a family because of how demanding a job like that would be.

Well, unfortunately I haven't the DVD which shows the 'making of' or so but I know the name of the DVD it's called "KÀ Extreme" (on this is the documentation of the whole Show! I wished I had it *sfz*)
but I have just the recorded Show on Video and one day I think I'll contact Miro for different reasons XDDD.

Did you get the DVD thing that goes with Kà? I forgot what it's called...but it's got behind the scenes stuff and it shows Miro talking a lot (in French though) and yeah.

Ah! Now this is the one I almost missed! I like the way you put the details in everything. From the shading/highlighting, to the awesome details on the hair, the skull, and that awesome tattoo. Really great stuff here. These two guys were drawn with character. I like your choice of colors too. It seems to fit them really well. That background choice is great too. Simplicity is sometimes the best thing. It looks like their on stage.

The colors are just the way they were...I didn't come up with them myself XD Crique du Soleil is really good at character/costume designs. The background was what the stage looked like before the show started. There was all this fog and every few minutes they'd shoot fire out of it XD It was pretty cool. Then the first two to walk out on the little strip of stage in the front were these two characters.
