I...had no idea what gallery to put it in...
IT'S DIGITAL AND IT'S PAINTY BUT NONE OF THE PAINY CATEGORIES MADE SENSE. O.o;;SO. I felt like trying something new. I doodled something in my Broadcast Journalism notebook that I really liked, and then I doodled another one like it later...I LIKE 'ER. I'm calling her Emily.
OMG LOOK. I'm applying stuff I learned from art class. Digital painting is SO MUCH EASIER, but you learn a LOT from using the actual stuff. In this case, oil paint. That stuff is annoying. But I'm learning things from using it. Splee, I love the shading! I didn't use the smudge or blur tools either, that's all just painty goodness. XD (okay, that whole paragraph sounded stupid. whatever.)
Don't ask why she doesn't have eyes. She looks creepier without them, SO THERE. It's a new style I'm trying (yes, another) and I'm still working out the multitude of kinks.
SO THEN. (I just know I'm gonna regret this) I'm open to any and all crits you have. I'm still practicing this 'no outlines' style, and the painy shading. If you know anything that can help, I'm all ears.

I love it. Really. I am going to post it (eventually) but I just did a drawing where a lady has no face. I like the red roses also. Nice touch.
If I had to pick something out, the only thing that I dont get is where the shoes start and where the dress ends. Otherwise, perfect <3.

hmm, the shoes/dress thing seems pretty obvious to me, maybe it's just the screen colors or brightness or something.
I wanna draw people more D= I can't decide on a freakin' style! It's weird, I don't really like anthro art that much at all myself, but that's all I can draw. O.o

I don't know HOW many times I was sitting in art class painting, and thought "Oh, crap! Edit, undo! Edit, undo!!" I kept thinking about that while I was working on this XD
I'll have to take commercial design...I'm torn between that and ceramics for next year XD And photography...my dad's a profesional photographer and he REALLY wants me to take that class XD

Well, if you really want, you can actually take all three of those courses your senior year if you really want to. Maybe even earlier. You only need so many academic credits. But, take a look on what YOU want to do. And soon, because the middle of the year is coming up and you have to start picking what classes you want!

I don't know, I want to take either commercial design or ceramics. I don't really WANT to take photography, but I think it would be some useful knowledge. I'll probably end up taking it eventually.

Have to take three years of a language? For what? I've been told that tons of times, and I think that's only if you want to go to a prestigious college. Which, really, is silly because no one cares where you get your bachelor's degree after high school. But, German is a good choice, no one complains about German, from what I heard! XD ^^
Well, you have quite enough time, so don't fret too much over it. Well, whatever you want, honey. ^^ I am in Photography, and it is a lot of fun, but what ever suits you best. You must get tons of Photoknowledge already from your dad. XD;; Well, what ever you like!

oh. Well, I heard you HAD to to get out of high school. O.o;; I wanted to take German, but they're taking it away. I would be in German now if I could, but all they had was German II on the list! I AM German, and I already KNOW some German, it's not fair >.< -sighs-
