Maybe I've been watching too many Vlad Dracula documentaries... I dunno. I just wanted to stick my head on a stake, and so it was.

I always whip out my IDs in about 15 minutes, and then end up totally hating them later...so here's a new one that I actually spent all day on. I tried a few new things here, too...coloring hair and fur to make it look more realistic (did I succeed with that? I dunno...cartoony realistic? O.o) and even more importantly, coloring without outlines!! Gawd, it certainly is frustrating to have to make all the outer edges look PERFECT becaues you don't have big fat lines to hide all the little lumpies. But it's also VERY nice to leave the pen tool completely alone. YAY!! No obnoxious outlining and re-outlining!! The original image is actually twice this size, and I'm a little sad about the lack of detail in the small version...maybe I'll post the big huge one in my scraps or something. BUT YES. More bloodyness for my front page. I just can't get enough of it.

Whaddya think? Did I do a good job without outlines? Yay? Nay? I rather like this personally. My nose ring IS a bit off, but that part was actually kind of annoying/difficult to do.
