((download to see larger image))As well as journal assignments for art class, we also do these 'current events', which is really just any piece of artwork you wanna do for some interesting news that has happened recently. You find an article and do some artwork on it. All my current events so far have sucked so bad, so I haven't posted them. This one I think is...okay.
Because most of you don't live in Vegas, Lied (pronounced 'Leed') Animal Shelter is a no-kill shelter for lost or abandoned pets. Around Valentine's there was this huge parvo outbreak, and over 1000 animals had to be put down because of that
That's where we got our dog Mindy! So that's what my current event was on.Cats aren't my forté. I haven't practiced with them much yet.
As for the meaning, I feel it's pretty obvious and despite the fact that most of the people I've shown this to didn't seem to get it, I still think what's going on is obvious and I'm not going to explain it.

when leid animal shelter had to put down all those dogs we tracked down this little terrier/poodle for 5 months before finding it at a shelter in boulder city. we finaly got to the place a few days before she was going to be put down... she is a wondeful dog and i beleve the dogs that where abandonded and neglected turn out to make the best pets anyone could have... way better than some preppy show dog that gets papmpered every day of its life. and right now our little poodle terrier mix is well, begging for chicken.... hehe what dog wouldnt?...... read my signiture ppl!!!!!
