Okay, THIS is by far one of my most favorite pieces yet!! It was another journal assignment for art class, with the theme "Science Fiction". We had to create an old-style scifi movie movie poster.

We didn't have to make up a story, but I did. Here goes:

These wolf people came down from outer space, but because they didn't speak English, (they spoke some wolfish language) no one knew what their intentions were. People are stupid, so they killed them all just to be safe. Of course, since they're aliens, we've just GOT to open them up and see what they're made out of!! Their bodies were taken to a lab and dissected for research. But one of the scientists felt really bad and got a little nutty, and went all Dr. Frankenstein and tried to bring them back to life by substituting their missing, overly dissected parts with human parts. Well, it worked...but the aliens were pissed. I mean, you would be too if you went over to someone's house to say "Hi!" and then they flipped out and dissected you. So now they're after revenge, turning all the humans into wolf-people with their anthroifying ray guns! And I'll just say, in MY B-movie, the wolves take over the planet in the end. I mean, seriously, Earth can't win every time.

I thought of all that in about 10 minutes the night I finished the picture. And I told it to the class. Everyone stared at me because I just went on talking for like five minutes after the teacher asked what my movie was about. It was AWESOME

So, from left to right, we've got Kozar, Commander Moofin, Epoch, and Draco. OMG, I MISS DRAWING MY CHARACTERS!! -makes mental note to draw them more often instead of herself all the time-

Media: watercolor pencils, prismacolor pencils (very minor details), chalk pastels, white out, and cut out text I printed out on photo paper.

I think that's all.
