s.How come illustrations can only be linework or painting/airbrushing? This is why I always put everything in 'other' categories.
So anyway...damn this looks better in real life.
Outside assignment for art class. The theme was 'take the bull by the horns.' We had to incorporate invented, simulated, and actual texture and use disproportion.
I don't like Christmas, so I decided to do a Grinch and steal it. : D ...for some reason, no one was able to figure out that the hat is covering the eyes and the white thing is a nose. They thought the nose was an eye. ...I don't see how it looks like an eye, but whatever...maybe you people who are familiar with my style will be able to see that.
Colored pencil with acrylic over tinfoil for the frame.
I didn't want to make a huge statement with my art for once, so this was pretty fun : D
The tinfoil looks a LOT better in real life.

Acually, it wasn't until I read the comments that I realized that the nose Wasn't an eye. Sorry! It just looked like some kind of cool bug thing. Now that I know, it looks a lot cooler and more fun!

Oooh, I loves it! This is coloured pencil? Whatever medium it is, I think you should stick with it, because you've really pulled some really deliciously rich colours out of it. 
I think you should post more stuff like this here on DA, moofin. It's really fun, and I think some of the best art is just for shits and giggles. Post moar!
That's so weird they thought the nose was the eye. I could recognize it from the thumbnail. XD; Nyergh, I guess they has a different perspective.

Well, you're familiar with my style, and the fact that my character has a white nose, and everyone else...isn't.
