I like how shiny the pit/seed is. How long do these art lessons usually take?

Thanks!

It depends on the complexity and the approach (ala prima or glazing). The Koi one involved lots of drying and glazing, and it took me nearly two hours.

I'm currently working on the pony painting lesson and it's going very slowly. Three sessions so far at nearly three hours in total, and I'm not even close to finishing.

This avocado one was worked wet on wet (ala prima), and took three sessions of about 45 minutes each.

In real life, ala prima painting is done much quicker than layered glazed paintings; but because drying is instantaneous here, wet on wet is slower.

There's no 'undo' button, so one mistake on wet paint can set you back quite a bit.

I view these lessons as exercises, and I think you only get out what you put in. I follow what Vince (tutorial guy) says to a point, but sometimes he misses stuff.

For instance; 'Treetise' was meant to only be a drawing of one tree, but I tried the whole park.

Wow!! Each lesson is quite a commitment to time then eh? But I suppose you right, if you don't put the time and effort in art work it would look rubbish.

No undo button!!! I would throw a fit If I did something wrong, couldn't change it and had to do it all over again!!!
