Description
Part of 's group dare . Finally have some time off, so I got time for several messy (and wtf-worthy) doodles. I may clean it up at some point, but I got a psychopathy assessment paper to be writing.1) Costume ideas. Niko's idea seriously stuck because I don't know how did I make the connection, the two are very fast, irritating (to the right people/coyote) and have their fair share of using explosives (though given the rules of the race, any forms of weaponry and explosives have been thoroughly banned). Also, I felt the need to include the idea of that stupid horse mask in Leon and Jade's costume idea (cause what horse race is complete without an actual horse). And cause obligatory horse costume jokes are obligatory. Wouldn't know how'd they be able to run given their height difference.
2-3) Something action-y that doesn't involve someone's brains making abstract impressions on surfaces. Jade's lucky she's got a dancer's grace (and a ginger step-ladder) to get over these things. But it didn't change the fact that Leon face planted multiple times into the mud, at least he wasn't permanently injured.
4) Aside from actual race action, there's always the spectators. Races are famous for their fashion, (obnoxious) headware and gambling. Rena's a sucker for all three…and any opportunity to test out a new disguise. It's just unfortunate she lost her money to the few people who is absurdly lucky with it. Don't exactly know why Dante's there (and not wearing plaid and/or jeans), he's probably only there as a walking pair of binoculars and a babysitter.

Though I don't own the idea of the 'towering pillar of hats' …they belong to Valve (I think?)

"VICTORY!" is my favourite part, no question! And I'm glad you went with the double horse costume idea, I was hoping someone would.

Haha, I think anybody would be that excited if they got out relatively fine It's every man/woman for themselves.
No zany obstacle course is complete without one! Especially when it's themed to be a horse race.

Oh my goodness, there are no words to describe this (and yet I have found many!) I laughed quite a lot over it TWICE. I must say though, Niko and her RoadRunner outfit is the best thing ever, does she do that weird tongue thing he does lol. And I've seen that horse head too many times, so thank you Jade for getting rid of it!
The fake legs flying sideways on Jade's horse half cracked me up though, they're like wings to help her spring-board leap, poor Leon, he should win the prize for collecting half the course's mud on him by the end And oh my goodness, those sliding mats, I bet they're all slippery and wet too *cue humorous montage of people wobbling about on them gracelessly*
I laughed so much at the hats though...that towering pillar of hats...(i kind of feel sorry for anyone behind them, what with Rena giant gift-hat as well (I bet the cork of that bottle did fly out and shower confetti at one point when she THOUGHT she was winning (the ostrich is retiring from racing now after its embarrassing defeat to the back end of a horse)
This whole collection is the best! It's going to be difficult to match this! Thanks so much for accepting the dare!

I'm seriously glad somebody but my tired brain found this funny. With the right incentives Niko would willingly do almost anything (short of putting a dress on). She probably does that weird tongue thing while putting together improvised bombs, or hunting for tubs of ice cream. But I agree, the horse head is EVERYWHERE, I mean it can be amusing but it's lost its novelty.
Lol, I actually put thought on the legs flying cause of reasons unknown. Cause I'd imagine these things aren't fixed together,w with the floppy legs and the like. He probably should get some prize, like those crudely drawn star-shaped medal with 'you tried' on it. I could imagine the slippery mats have several cameras set up, to capture every fail in multiple angles, slow-mo and in high definition.
You wouldn't know what's worse, blocked by stupid hats and tall people, not really worth all the money you put into attending it huh? The ideas of stupid hats came off the idea after playing TF2 for too long. The one Chace's wearing is one I use quite often in-game (and its actual name), cause screw gravity and logic. Though there actually is a hat like the one Rena wore, I saw photos of it, and it's ridiculous. It probably did go off at some point, either showering a random passerby or her extra set of eyes (cause the things he puts up with for her).
Well they made an ass out of that ostrich. Poor thing, it should consider something else as a past-time.
It's no problem! It was seriously fun to do

I wonder what the incentive was that got her wearing that outfit! (I still have yet to think of a prize for what the winner would get to be honest! Probably like a hotdog crown or something) that's adorable! If they hear that tongue noise coming from the kitchen they know she's looking for ice cream...or about to blow up the fridge.
I wonder who first started the horse head thing...
The floppy legs probably flap when the wearer is running, for added comedy value. He'd get a prize for the most face-impacts with mud, that's worth boasting about *presents him with a crappy tinfoil cup (this is low budget at its finest)
Lol with the option of offering still print outs of particularly amusing angles or expressions in keychain format or printed on mugs and tshirts as gift ideas...like how theme park rides give you the opportunity to buy your photo from the tallest drop.
That's why being short may be an advantage, you can squeeze between them and get a view through the bottom of the railing! Damn Tall Ones with their headgear. does the hat actually grant any special bonuses or just work to make you a bigger target? *hat poking out of bushes gives you away*
I wonder if the boxes also have stuff in them...just incase they may need it
Badda boom! Like maybe, try its luck against real life ostriches, I wonder if they'd notice the difference, they're supposedly very stupid birds

No idea what incentive it was, maybe someone managed to do something reverse-psychology related ("doubt you'd be as fast even with a stupid costume on, bet you won't make it past the starting line"). Pfft, hotdog crowns or those paper crowns you get at fast-food joints, it probably have the name hastily scribbled out for the name of this event.
Lol, and that's why no one leaves her alone for too long. Though if there's the frozen goods everything should be alright. I don't know but thanks to the harlem shake, everyone and their pet dog owned one. Thankfully the trend died out pretty quickly after.
The floppy legs probably have a placebo effect too, the more it flails, the greater the illusion of the wearer running faster. An even lower budget would be a used tinfoil cup. And with the revenue you get from the side business of selling these photos would sure help with hosting the next race
That's true, no one would expect that, unless you accidentally step on their toes on something. But the hat actually does little, it's just a cosmetic feature (yet a stupidly huge feature of the game). But if it was something like in Call of Duty, anyone can see you a mile away
Haha, the one occasion he could ever get an advantage. Not sure if ostriches are stupider than turkeys though. I've heard turkeys have drowned themselves from staring into the sky when it rained.

A wonderful weapon? One of a kind and personalised? Having the others be their slaves for a month? ugh, although i'd enter for the hotdog crown...the crown has the words "you're a Weiner" on it
Bits of frozen peas will be flying everywhere though if there ever was an explosion. Thankfully! It's like the whole Grumpy Cat thing, it was cute for a while then it just got old really fast and ceased being funny when people started trying too hard and applying it in situations that just didn't work I can imagine that, sort of like flapping madly to lift them off the ground and creat an airstream of speed. Traditionally the next year's race should be even cheaper and crappier and people will start asking what the budget was spent on as clearly the prize is even worse (yet they all still enter) - sounds a bit like my university actually...incredibly expensive fees only for it to get crappier each year with no sign of what the fees are used to improve...
We Short Ones are nimble, we don't stamp on toes as we are closer to the ground thus are more mindful of them being in our way. Everyone loves dressing characters up in funny outfits! Even if they don't do anything, simply collecting them and wearing them is strangely satisfying.
You'd never survive with that hat on...it'd be the suicide headgear that only the hardcore or stupid would wear - in the ultra difficult game setting they should make it mandatory to go through the whole game with that hat
Wow really? I always feel bad for turkeys...people are always like "ugh, it's so ugly", it must be demoralizing

Lol, given how well they've conducted themselves on the course, I don't think the winner would want an entire group of them bumbling around to get things done for them. But I'd join for the hotdog crown too. And that title would look like it was written with ketchup/mustard.
And there goes their tried-and-true method of substitute ice packs. But true, Grumpy Cat went the extra mile with a movie. Personally I didn't see how was that ever a good idea.
Arguably, a lot of things are like that, schools seems to be like that (my high school was like that). But you'd like to think people still participated in the races for the fun of it…and watching people get catapulted off trampolines or something.
"We Short Ones" sounds hilarious (what's the cutoff height for that?), probably got a few OCs who fit that category, Jade being one of them, she barely clears 5'3. I actually knew someone who collects funny onesies, for some reason she had enough to dress a dozen of us for a fundraiser. It was fun, but not in 30+ degree weather.
That sounds like a genius idea. Not only would the person seem abnormally badass, but also imagine the humiliation after getting your ass kicked by someone with a hat like that.
My uncle used to own turkeys. Well never dwelled on how ugly they were, but they were loud as hell (and taste good). They love to make that gobbling noise if they hear you shout.

Well they could work as jesters "entertain me, fools"
Of course, with chef-like flourish
There was a Grumpy Cat movie? Was it one of those live action ones that are documentary-style, like the stupid fad all celebrities go through of portraying their rise to fame, as if anyone cares
I'd go to see people catapulted off bouncy things!
We're a mighty and proud race you know. The cut off is probably 5ft 5 for women - depending on demographic of course, and basically anything under 5ft 7 for men - again depending on demographic - which people tend to ignore when categorising "short" people, they tend to just measure everyone based on Caucasians
Jade is about my height - stand tall and proud sister!
Wow, where did she store them all!
They'd be so badass you'd be honoured to have your ass kicked by them! "I am not worthy!" - but then again that'd be like a pro picking on lower level players just because they can, that's not badass at all, that's cowardly - take that hat off now, you do not deserve to wear it
I bet they really stink though! The worst was when I went to this petting zoo once and they had a male turkey, and as soon as I passed he puffed up and fanned his tail and started gobbling and following me, it was so embarrassing...I don't know if he was trying to scare me off or impress me! (I don't know what's more insulting!)

I do like the way you think with that.
Yes! There was a Grumpy Cat movie. It's got a lot of cringe worthy things, it's live-action, features a plucky kid who understands it and Christmas themes galore. Though it's bad enough there's documentaries about them, there's also now shows that pretty much is a compilation of internet videos and self-proclaimed 'experts' just giving commentary. Cringe worthy I tell you!
Haha, I'm at that cut-off point. But you're right on the demographics though. I mean Asian demographics isn't too far off that range. I mean sometimes it's a little under, cause I got a lot of comments for being tall when I was younger. But there's generation differences too, I swear kids these days (regardless of demographics) are just huge now. Personally, I don't know where she kept them, I imagine a large closet or something.
Hm, when you think about it, many animals stink. Not like they'd willingly go for a bath. Though I don't get what's with male birds and its mating behaviour. I mean it's funny when the bird's small like pigeons, but when it goes past turkey size, you wouldn't know what to do. I sure hope nothing bad happened after that.

sometimes my inner despot is let a little too much free reign
There was a show on KBS (Korean) called 2 days and 1 night, where these famous people have to play games in order to win things like food and tents and stuff as they go on outings across Korea, and in one episode the losers had to be the servants for the winners, imperial emperor style.
That's so horrible! Oh yeah! I've seen those shows lol, pets gone viral and all that, admittedly some are cute, but the majority just make me groan, especially like, singing dogs or whatever.
You're lucky then, I was always the runt and told I was small, even now I'm still the smallest, but as a child my parents took me to doctors and specialists because I was so skinny too. In highschool for our final year photo I was stuck at the front, it was soooo annoying, but now you know I just don't care all that much, at least i find clothing in my size, even if I do have to take pants up - though Asian sizes are impossible to fit in, they're so petite.
I imagined boxes...
They do! a lot of humans stink too lol. I think ostriches are the scariest, all that thrashing about...my twin finds them absolutely stupid - all birds and their mating dances, I mean I'm sure it's impressive in its own right...
Thankfully not! There was a fence in the way and I just moved off really fast
