Description
Here is a WIP of a Dodge Challenger that I am working on in C4D. The project is mostly R&D for render settings and PyroClusters. Please note that these images do not feature the motion blur and other camera effects that will be present in the final renders.Related content

Thx
Hmm, did you enable shadows on your light (omni, spot, etc)? You have to add the light to pyrocluster and it has to be shadow enabled. You can use override light settings and changing ambient color to a dark grey to get a better result with the shadows.
Nice animatin by the way, you could try using some kind of deflector so that when the car turns and collides with the smoke it has some interaction.

Yeah, I tried everything with the light, to no avail. Great idea with the deflecter, though - I'm totally going to revise that!
Thanks again for all the tips!

Good work
You could try enabling self shadows for pyrocluster, the smoke is too exposed and it loses too much detail, also work more with age effects, like as time passes the smoke expands (noise grows) and loses opacity.
Floor can have more detail, a normal map or something. Like the tires black trails as the car breaks.

Wow, thanks for your comment, and your portfolio is stunning, crafaldar!
I tried inserting a light and setting it to include my particle system. I enabled self shadows on the particles, but to no avail. I think it may be a matter of tweaking my luminence settings in my smoke shader - think so?
PS - an animation of this can now be seen on Vimeo at [link]
