Cecil, let's hold each other as we cower in fear from your twin brother, Kevin. Β Yup, I theorize that Kevin was torn away from Cecil before they turned 16 and forced to work as Strexcorp's little lap dog.

Argh, why does Kevin have to be so disturbingly, delightfully creepy? I can never quite tell if his voice makes me feel like I'm on a sugar high, or if I want to rip out his tongue and drag him to the Dog Park to be hellhound food while he chokes on his own blood......Ah well.
But yeah, you're depiction of Kevin here is super creepy! Super awesome, mind you (you really got his eerie, disturbingly-cheerful personality spot on, internal malevolence and all, complete with a way-too-many-teeth shark-like smile and eyes that either prove he's a demon trying to entice people to sell their souls to StrexCorp, or simply that he has no soul at all and there's just empty eye sockets like a corpse picked at by the ravens and crows....either way it's freaking unnerving like nothing else), but definitely also super creepy! Cecil's expression here is perfect (poor guy really looks like he wants to be anywhere else but within anywhere in the vicinity of Kevin).

I imagine in the arms of Carlos would be a good preferred alternate location!

Kevin was first introduced in the episodes The Sandstorm Part A and Part B.
He is Cecil's alternate dimensional counterpart. Whereas Cecil is from Night Vale, Kevin is from Desert Bluffs, a place very much like Night Vale except it has been taken over by a being known as The Smiling God who likes its worshipers to be happy and productive. ALL the time.
Recently Welcome To Night Vale had a pretty big plot-line involving The Smiling God and the representatives of its company, StrexCorp,(including Kevin) invading Night Vale and trying to add its citizens to its list of bloody but smiling followers!

The fact that you said that in a piece of art made by a person who'sΒ pen name is Expression made me happy. I am not sure why,
