I presented this as a gift to Derek Landy at the book signing for the 7th Skulduggery Pleasant book, Kingdom of the Wicked.I think we both got a bit of a shock when he recognised the artwork! I explain more in this journal post: [link]

To go into more detail, the Skulduggery Pleasant novels by Derek Landy are about a sorceror turned detective (who also happens to be a living skeleton) and his partner/apprentice Valkyrie Cain who frequently solve crimes and fight to stop magically-powered criminals and villains from taking over or destroying the world.
The books are very popular and well-known for their sense of humour, action and large cast of characters!
You really will not regret reading them!
