I presented this as a gift to Derek Landy at the book signing for the 7th Skulduggery Pleasant book, Kingdom of the Wicked.I think we both got a bit of a shock when he recognised the artwork! I explain more in this journal post: [link]

To be fair, when squinting at this drawing I can see how the hole in his face might look like a mustache -I did colour it rather dark but I assure you I had no intention of making the hole look like facial hair! That's just how I draw nose holes. It's the same pointy shape I put in Skulduggery's skull as well.

Yeah, I do keep forgetting that and I've kind of gotten myself stuck on drawing them this way!
When the series is over I was planning on drawing revised designs for several characters anyway. As my drawing skills have gotten stronger, the way I've drawn certain characters has changed over time so their design isn't always consistent!
